"The summer my father was depressed, the face of Jesus appeared on a tortilla at the Morning Glory Cafe", begins 11-year-old Bo Groden, raised off the grid in the New Mexico desert.  Will her father stop crying?  Will her mother put on clothes when she works outside?  Can an IRS auditor save Bo from her back-to-nature parents and give her the normalcy she craves?
