Cast of Riffin' and Tappin'


 Jeff Foote (BUCK) is excited to be a part of the NY premiere of Riffin & Tappin. Jeffry Foote  This marks Jeff’s debut at the Depot. Regional credits include Hairspray, Ragtime, Lady Be Good and Man Who Came To Dinner at Surflight Theater. He was also a ensemble member in 42nd Street with Jersey Shore Entertainment in Reno, NV and played Sammy Davis Jr. in “Tribute To The Rat Pack”. He has studied tap with Deborah Mitchell, Omar Edwards, Karen Callaway-Williams and Savion Glover, and is a principal dancer in the New Jersey Tap Dance Ensemble. Jeff would like to thank the cast and crew for this wonderful experience. And a special thanks to Mary for all of her love and support.

 


 

Darius Harper

Darius Harper* (WING) - Darius is thrilled to be shuffle ball changing at the Depot Theatre this summer. A New Hampshire native, Darius now resides in New York City. Regional credits include: Arkansas Repertory Theatre (Smokey Joe’s Cafe - Adrian), Foothills Theatre (Rocky Horror Show - Phantom/Frank us), Little Theatre...Square (Hairspray - Duane/Dynamite). Darius has performed lead vocals with both Tokyo Disney Resort and Disney Cruiselines, he can also be seen in the hilarious webseries “Weiner and Weiner” (weinerandweiner.com) at Imagiland Productions. Kudos to the cast and crew, fasten your seatbelts, it’s going to be a “boonch-y” ride!

 


 

Christopher George Patterson (SLIDE/Creator/Director/Choreographer) is an award winning choreographer, director, conceiver and performer. A native of New Jersey, Christopher’s work has been featured across the country and Canada. He has worked for regional theatres including the Paper Mill Playhouse, Oregon Cabaret Theatre, and Cumberland County Playhouse. He recently directed and choreographed the Depot Theatre tour of Five Guys Named Moe. Other directing/choreography credits include: Three productions of The Wiz including the 25th  anniversary tour production, Sweet Charity, Smokey Joe’s Café, Children of Eden, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Damn Yankees, Dreamgirls, and The Life. He has worked as the Dance Assistant for the Broadway Company of Disney’s The Lion King. As a performer, he has been seen in the Broadway national tours of My One and Only and Crazy For You, where he was Dance Captain for Tony nominated choreographer, Joey McKneely. He appeared in the Broadway production of Charles Bush & Julie Halston: Back On Broadway. Other roles include: Hot Mikado (The Mikado), Pippin (Leading Player), Five Guys Named Moe (No Moe), Ain’t Misbehavin’ (Ken), & Jesus Christ Superstar (Peter). He has conceived &  irected many new musicals including It Had to Be You which opened Off-Broadway, Sing Happy – The Liza Minnelli Musical  tribute, and his recent project, Dance Bojangles, Dance!, about the life of the legendary Bill Robinson. www.chrisgpatterson.com
 

 

Colin Pritchard* (FLAP) is thrilled to be a part of this show and to make his Depot debut. Some Colin Pritchardfavorites are: Bobby in Crazy for You, Cosmo in Singin' in the Rain, Freddy in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and George in The Drowsy Chaperone. Other favorite credits include: 42nd Street tour (US/Japan), Goodspeed, Westchester Broadway, the Fulton and Mac-Haydn. Up next: Lavender Shore in and The Vaudeville Extravaganza in the Midtown Int'l Theatre and NY Fringe Festivals, respectively. When not on stage, you can probably find him working for Martha Stewart Living. BS: Georgetown University.

 

 

 


 

Hilary Rushford* (SHUFFLE) returns to The Depot having played Jeanne Coyne Hilary Rushford  in "What A Glorious Feeling" last summer. Other credits include the 1st National Tour of "42nd Street", "Radio City Rockettes", "Crazy For You" (u/s Polly), "Joseph ... Dreamcoat" (Mrs Potiphar). She recently debuted her one-woman-show "The 7 Year Itch" and is the founder of Dean Street Society where she works as a personal stylist in Brooklyn, NY. Joe Schermann (MUSICAL DIRECTOR) is a composer/lyricist/singer/actor/pianist/music director and strong proponent of slashes. He is happy to be making his Depot debut with Riffin' and Tappin'. As a musical director/pianist he has worked productions of White Christmas, Bat Boy: The Musical, Smokey Joe's Cafe, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas as well as several concerts and cabarets in and around NYC. His past credits as a composer/lyricist include his one-act opera 1in6, Seeking Sondheim (with lyricist Jerron Herman), as well as original music for previously mentioned concerts and cabarets. Favorite past roles onstage include Papageno (Magic Flute), Tartuffe (Tartuffe), Pirate King (Pirates of Penzance) and being in the ensemble for Les Miserables. 2012 will see the arrival of the independent film musical How Do You Write a Joe Schermann Song?, starring Joe and featuring his music and lyrics.
